Kathy Whisner Obituary
Kathy Marie Whisner, 70, of Broad Top City, passed away on Monday, November 16th, 2020 at Penn Knoll Nursing Home in Everett, Pennsylvania.
Born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Chilcote and sister of the late Bonnie Day (Chilcote) and surviving brother in law, Larry Day. She graduated from Penn Hills High School, Pennsylvania and Anderson University, Indiana.
In 1980, at the Robertsdale Church of God, she was united in marriage to the late Robert E. Whisner. After 35 years of teaching, Kathy retired from the Tussey Mountain School district. Having no children of her own, Kathy dedicated her life to her students.
Kathy has surviving nieces and nephews, Michelle Day, Shawn Day, Deb Whisner, Jim Whisner, Justin Ake, EJ Davis, Camela Shippey and Kimberly Whisner.
Kathy will be greatly missed by her four, faithful companions, Mia, Cubby Bear, Cedar and Teeny.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services held and interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA. 16621.
