LaDonna Ruth (Young) Weaverling

LaDonna Ruth Weaverling, 87, of Six Mile Run, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital due to complications from a massive stroke.

Born in Six Mile Run, on November 10, 1934, a daughter of the late James Henry and Gladys (Clark) Young.

She was first married to Robert  Kline who preceded her in death and is survived by her second husband, Harold “Sonny” Weaverling at their home.

She is survived by a son, Michael Kline and companion, Chesterly Stevenson of Hopewell, step children, Deb Kline and Rusty Weaverling, grandchildren, Tanya Neumeyer, Nicholas Kline, and Ciera Hart, step grandchildren, Michelle Leader and Gary Wayne Steele, siblings, James Young, husband of Santina, Harry Young, husband of Beverly, Jack Young, husband of Josie, Mary Louise Bandinelli, wife of Nick, Barbara Young, as well as numerous great grandchildren, great greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Alice.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Louise Kline, siblings, Robert Young and wife Doris, Blair Young and wife Mary Jane, Elsie Zimmerman and husband Peter, Dorothy McLean and husband Timothy, and two infant brothers, Chester Leroy Young and William Paul Young.

She was of the Catholic Faith and was primarily a homemaker

Friends will be received on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 10-11 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley, PA with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM with Father Mark Reid officiating.

Interment will take place in the Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery, Hopewell, PA.
