Lee E. Zelanko, 82, of Broad Top City, passed away on Monday, August 8, at his home.
Born in Kearney on October 20, 1939, a son of the late John and Rose (Figard) Zelanko.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” (Lucas) Zelanko, a son, Steven Zelanko, daughter Tammy Musselman, grandson, Christopher Zelanko husband of Nikki, granddaughters, Morgan Musselman and Brooke Hobble, brother, Danny Zelanko, sisters, Shirley Wright, Pearl Fessler, and Kay Walters.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Hobble, brothers, John and Michael Zelanko, and a sister, Betty Barton.
His employment started in the coalmines and then on to construction where he was primarily a Superintendent. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren, Libby’s cooking, and Sunday dinners with his family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 12 noon at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Broad Top City with Pastor Jeff Musser officiating. Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service at 12 noon.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
