Lori Ann "Buffy" (Brown) Allmond

Lori Ann “Buffy” (Brown) Allmond, 55, of Saxton, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to a battle with cancer.

Born in Bedford, Pa on June 10, 1966, a daughter of James B. and Diane R. (Foster) Brown who survive in Coalmont.

On August 18, 2006, she was united in marriage to Michael W. Allmond who survives at their home in Saxton.

Lori was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and graduated from Tussey Mountain High School in 1984. Throughout the years she has had various jobs, with the most recently being at the Saxton Market in the Deli where she was loved by coworkers and customers alike. Her warm smile and happy Hello will be remembered by all who met her.

Family was very important to her, it was her pride and joy. She loved camping and trips to the ocean, walking the beach and listening to the waves. Her great love of animals always had her taking in strays and feeding others that would show up at the house.

Along with her parents, James and Diane Brown, and her husband, Michael Allmond, she is survived by a daughter, Julie A. (Higgins) Jaminson a grandson, John Jaminson both of James Creek, PA, step children, April (Allmond) wife of Brendan Riedal, and their children, Tristan and Marilyn, Mark Allmond and son Anthony. Brothers, James D. Brown, husband of Trina of Dudley, PA. and Mark B. Brown, husband of Melinda of Broad Top City, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Lori was a kind soul with a big heart who was loved by all and will be missed by all.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 6-8 PM and again on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10-11 AM at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11 AM with Pastor Rob Reed officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. 5010 Railroad Ave. Broad Top City, PA. 16621. Interment will take place in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run, PA.
