Lovely (Pawuk) Tenley

SAXTON-Lovely (Pawuk) Tenley, 91 of Saxton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday September 9, 2025 at home.

Born February 4, 1934 in Wood, she was the daughter of the late Rosie (Trohanowsky) and Wasyl Pawuk.   She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Tenley; siblings Wasco, Vera, Feodor, Della, Mary, Tillie, Vladimir, and John. 

Lovely was a member of Reality Church of God and also attended Raystown Church of the Brethren.   She was a graduate of Robertsdale High School.   Lovely lived her entire life in the Broad Top Area where she enjoyed visiting with family and friends and enjoyed word searches, game shows, bingo, and playing card games.   Above all, she loved spending time with  her 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.   

Surviving are her two sons Jeff Tenley and wife Trisha and Greg Tenley and wife Tammy; grandchildren Richelle (Ryan) Rafferty, Joshua (Jessica) Tenley Shonda(Cory) Pecor, Justin Tenley, Larissa (Jason) Mays, and Kayla (Codie)Butler; great-grandchildren Sadie, Sarah, Rylie, Sawyer Rafferty; Kylie, Kaelyn, Lorelai, Lydia, Addilyn, Jase Tenley; Isaiah Pecor; Austin, Grayson, Emersyn Mays; Kadison, Jay Butler and baby-girl Butler on the way; siblings Helen Rosensteel, Paul (Joan) Pawuk, Janie Davis and Anna (Bobby) Spencer.

Friends will be received at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Inc., 5010 Railroad Ave., Broad Top City on Monday September 15, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. with her son Jeff Tenley officiating. 

Burial will be private at Duvall Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in her memory.
