Marsha Jean (Morrow) “Mush” Ferrell, 58, of Saxton, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown with her children and husband by her side.
Born in Huntingdon on September 3, 1960, she was a daughter of Dorothy P. (Wolfe) and Joseph A. “Junior” Morrow Jr. who survive in Six Mile Run.
She was united in marriage to Dennis Eugene Ferrell, who survives in Saxton.
She was a graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and was a member of the Dudley Untied Methodist Church. During her life she enjoyed the Bible, especially the book of Psalms, late night calls with friends, holidays, and dearly loved her children and grandchildren spending her days loving and helping them. Her smile and laugh will last forever.
She was a stay at home mother and grandmother but also worked out of her home as a drug and alcohol counselor.
Along with her parents and husband the following family survives; Sons, Brandon J. Jays, Saxton, Vincent Romance Grant McKim, Saxton, Aden Marshall Leonard, Dudley, Casey Adams, York, Daughters, Kate M. Wentworth, New York, Shaecole Leonard, Baltimore, MD, Stephanie Cook, Baltimore, MD, Marissa Rae Leonard, York, Brothers, Paul Morrow, Woodbury, Joseph L. Morrow, Round Knob, Donald E. Morrow, Burnside, Mark Morrow, Dudley, Jeff Morrow, New Orleans, LA, John Morrow, Robertsdale, Sisters, Dottie Day, Dudley, Darla Palko, Cumberland, MD, 14 grandchildren, 7 nieces and 7 nephews . she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Morrow.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family on September 7, 2019 at the Dudley United Methodist Church at 1 PM with Pastor Kim Eichelberger officiating.
The family is requesting the no flowers be sent, however memorial contributions can be sent to the funeral home in lieu of flowers to help assist the family.
