Mary Lou (Seidel) Raycroft

Mary Lou (Seidel) Raycroft, 87, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at UPMC Pennacle Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born in Chicago, Il, on May 5, 1931, a daughter of the late, Otto and Ruth (Richardson) Seidel.
In 1952 in Chicago, Il, she was united in marriage to Rev. Robert P. Raycroft who preceded her in death on June 27, 2007.
During her life she was primarily a pastor’s wife and homemaker who was also ordained. She enjoyed knitting, loved her dogs, was an avid reader, and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
She was of the protestant faith serving many churches and congregations with her husband over the years.
Surviving are a son, Robert Raycroft Jr., Husband of Loretta of Wood, and a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” McElwee, wife of Tom of Broad Top City, 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 infant children and two sisters Vanita and Ruth.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 6-8 PM and again on Wednesday August 15, 2018  one hour prior to the service at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 1 PM With Pastor Georgetta Hartley Officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA. 16621
