Melanie Jeanette Black, 70, of Bedford, formerly of Westminster, MD, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
Born in Saxton on November 21, 1949, she was a daughter of the late, Stephen M. and Gladys K. (Bollman) Hudacik.
She was united in marriage to Adam J. “Skip” Black who preceded her in death on January 4, 2020.
She was a homemaker and caregiver as well as having worked at Elder Care Nursing Home in Westminster, MD. And was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved birds, flowers, fall, winter, and Christmas.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy Black, a son, Adam Black, a sister, Kathy Licvar, wife of Mark, a Sister-in-law, Gina Bowers, wife of Mark, a brother-in-law, Mario Mancini, husband of Dawn, and grandchildren, Valerie, Jeffery, Justin, and Jackson Valek.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Beau Black and a brother, Jeffrey Hudacik.
Services will be determined by the family at a later date.
