Mona (Marks) Clippinger, 89, of Robertsdale, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Born in Robertsdale on May 22, 1935, a daughter of the late Melvin C. and Alma (Heath) Marks.
She was the widower of Carl E. Clippinger who preceded her in death on May 21, 2003. They were united in marriage on October 9, 1956 at the Robertsdale Church Of God Parsonage by the Rev. William Carpenter.
She was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God where she enjoyed being involved any time she could help. She had a great love for animals, especially cats, and dearly loved spending time with her great grandchildren. During her life she was a primarily a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Pam, wife of Donald Young, a grandson, Lee Aaron Young, husband of Jessica, great grand children, Parker Alan, Charlee Allyson, Blake Avery, and a sister, Melvena Palko.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cloyd W. Marks.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. at 6 PM with Pastor Jared Fields officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
