Nancy Giles Obituary
Nancy Jo (Singer) Giles, 41, of Johnstown, formerly of Six Mile Run, passed away unexpectedly.
Born in Roaring Spring on December 29, 1977, the daughter of Danny G. and Margaret (Helsel) “Peg” Singer whom survive in Six Mile Run.
She was a 1999 graduate of Everett High School and attended the Riddlesburg Brethren Church. She worked at the schools in the summers and at the Bedford County Workshop from 1999 until 2014. She loved the old church music and country western music. She also loved the Special Olympics and her animals. She was a very friendly and outgoing person who loved life.
Along with her parents, the following are her immediate family members. Aunts and uncles include, Robert A. Helsel, Kenneth Helsel, Shirley Hedge, widow of Rodney, Ken Singer, husband of Lois, Jerry Singer, husband of Terry, Richard Singer, husband of Connie, Kevin Singer, husband of Wanda, Diane Singer, widow of Eddie, Linda McElwee, widow of William, Renee Hagerty, widow of Robert, Viola Duvall, wife of Merle, and Janice Black, widow of Hartman. Also surviving is a special cousin, Gage Helsel, as well as numerous other cousins. Also preceded her in death where her grandparents, June and Buck Helsel and Alma Jean and Pete Singer, and a aunt Lisa Ann Smith.
Friends will be received on Saturday, August 24th from 10 AM -12 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., where a Memorial service will follow at 12 PM with Pastor Tim McIntyre officiating.
Interment will take place privately in the Langdondale Cemetery.
