Nancy Kay Watkins, 76, of Coles Valley Road, Robertsdale, passed away at her home on Monday April 3, 2023 surrounded by family.
Born in Huntingdon on December 10, 1946 a daughter of the late Jesse Franklin and Jessie Louise (Evans) Cramer.
On September 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to William Levi Watkins at the Hawn's Bridge Church along the banks of the old Juniata River. Mr. Watkins survives at their home.
Along with her husband, she is survived by three children, Michael Watkins and companion Nikki Watkin of Saltillo, Connie Duvall, widow of Larry Duvall, and Robert Watkins, husband of Vicki (Garner) Watkins of Robertsdale. Also surviving are 11 granddaughters, Stefanie Shaw, Whitney Watkins, Jessica Sunderland, Kelsey Reichard, Payton Watkins, Samantha Henry, Misti Doyle, Alicia Varner, Julisa Williams, Haylee and Kamryn Watkin, as well as 18 great grandchildren and her fur companion, Wilbur.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert F. Cramer.
She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and retired from the Sidling Hill Travel Plaza and was a homemaker.
Her husband, children, and grandchildren were her world and she loved anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, trail rides, camping, and mowing her lawn. She was of the Protestant faith.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 5, 2023 from 6-8 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 6, 2023 at 10 AM also at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Cornelius officiating. Interment will take place in the Wells Valley Presbyterian Cemetery.
