Owen Duane Clark Jr., 75, of Saxton, passed away on March 30, 2019 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born in Broad Top City on July 3, 1943, he was a son of the late Mary Christina (Kensinger) and Owen D. Clark Sr.
On December 20, 1987 he was united in marriage to Esther (Wise) Clark who survives at their home in Saxton.
He was a 1961 graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and had attended Robertsdale High School, He was a member of the Broad Top City Church of God, worked as a carpenter for GAFC Wagman in York for 30 years retiring in 1996. He enjoyed attending church services and participating in Sunday School, doing word puzzles and watching westerns especially Gunsmoke.
Along with his wife he is survived by sons, Daniel Clark, O. Duane Clark III, Andrew Clark, daughter, Vona Young, wife of Jim, grandsons, Trenton Clark, Aaron Clark, Justin, husband of Nena Clark, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Strauss, wife of Steven, great grandson, Micah, and sisters, Inez Jones, wife of Chester, and Rebecca Faith, wife of Barry. He was preceded in death by sisters, Audrey Diane Enyeart and Sharon Elaine Clark.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 1 PM also at the funeral home with pastor Jeff Musser officiating.
Interment will take place in the Grandview Cemetery, Saxton, PA.
