Penny Weaver

Penny Alaine (Thomas) “Miss Penny” Weaver, 62, of Six Mile Run, passed away on September 20, 2021 at Nason hospital in Roaring Spring.
Born on July 15, 1959 in Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Duwane and Joyce (Shugarts) Thomas.
On November 23, 1984 in Hopewell, she was united in marriage to Jeffery James Weaver who survives at their home.
Also surviving are daughters, Mellisa Black, wife of Brian, Bobbie Sue Snyder, wife of Wesley, grandchildren, Jeffery Foor, Barry Snyder, Rebecca Snyder, Brittanie Black, siblings, Dennis Thomas, husband of Beth, Danny Thomas, husband of Diane, Toni Carowick, wife of Mark, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Weaver.
She had been employed at several jobs before becoming a happy housewife. She enjoyed making crafts, painting ceramics, working in her garden and flower beds, and going fishing and boating. She dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing games and attending special events with them. She had many special friends that she considered family.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services held.
