Raymond C. Harding, 76, of Enid Mountain Road, Six Mile Run, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026.
He was born in Roaring Spring, PA, a son of the late Mildred (Buseck) and John J. Harding.
He married his wife, Sandy (Risbon) Harding, on May 14, 1983, and she survives him.
He is also survived by sons, Dan Harding and companion, Kim Frye, of Saxton, Gerald Markle and wife, Lisa, of Roaring Spring and grandson, Jared Markle of Roaring Spring, sister-in-law, Cathy Harding of Orbisonia, and niece, Rita and husband Gerald Sipes of Harrisonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as brothers Jon, Roy, and Robbie.
He went to Tussey Mountain High School.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army.
He attended the Six Mile Run United Methodist Church in Defiance, PA.
During his lifetime, he was a professional driver. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Cormac Inc. of Everett, then a self-employed owner-operator. He also drove for Bollman Charter Service of Everett.
He was a member and past commander of the Six Mile Run American Legion Post #556 and member of the Six Mile Run Area Volunteer Fire Company in the past. He was a Freemason.
Raymond loved to travel and during his travels never met a stranger. He enjoyed making people laugh, telling jokes and pulling pranks when given the opportunity. He enjoyed local dirt track racing, Pittsburgh Steelers football and music, especially ?O's and 80's rock music.
Friends and Family will be received for a visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Patty Wise officiating also at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Private family burial service will take place at Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Raymond's name to the Six Mile Run United Methodist Church, Defiance, PA. Also, to aid other veterans, contributions can be made to the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home Residents' Welfare Fund, PO Box 319, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
