Richard Alan “Richie” McCue, 53, of Dudley, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. Born on August 13, 1972, he was the son of Thomas McCue and the late Flora (Heath) McCue. In addition to his daughter, Kelsey McCue-Long, Rich is survived by his son-in-law, Scott, and his cherished grandchildren, Elliott and Charlotte. He is also survived by his sisters: Tina Hoover and husband James; Thomasina Drenning and husband Danny; and Tracie Morrow and companion Ron Horton. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Alicia Clark, Mindy Swab, Markus Morrow, Christina Hoover, Allison Donovan, Jamie Hoover, and Trekoda Morrow. Rich was preceded in death by his mother, Flora. Throughout his life, Rich worked at the Saxton IGA, Seton, and Clark’s, spending countless days working diligently alongside people he cared about. He took great pride in his work and lived a life centered on serving others. In early 2025, Rich stepped forward in faith and asked the Lord and Savior into his heart. He treasured the meaningful conversations he shared with Reverend Chris Clinger. Rich was also an active member of the Six Mile Run Legion, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and serving the community. Of all the roles he held, the one he cherished most was being “Paw-Paw” to Elliott and Charlotte. He took immense pride in them and loved taking them on Kubota rides, playing trains with Elliott, and babies with Charlotte. Friends will be received on Friday December 12 from 9am to 11am. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11am, at the Saxton Church of God Tabernacle, with Rev. Chris Clinger officiating. Interment will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Broad Top City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Six Mile Run Legion. Arrangements are under the direction of Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., 5010 Railroad Ave., Broad Top City, PA 16621. Online condolences can be made at www.caheathfh.com
