Robert “Bobby” Duvall Sr. 77, of Robertsdale, RD, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Born in Wells Tannery on April 11, 1944, a son of the late Clarence and June (Watkins) Duvall.
On October 11, 1970, in Greencastle, PA, he was united in marriage to Pauline (Barber) Duvall who survives at their home.
Along with his wife he is survived by 3 children, Cindy Duvall and Fiancé Rudy Swansegar, Tonya Neuder, wife of Kevin, and Robert “Bobby” Duvall, Jr. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, Sisters, Betty Johnson and companion Jerry, Dorothy Davis and companion James, Louise Wilson, wife of Larry, Vera Swindell, wife of John, brothers, Lawrence Duvall, husband of Karen, James Duvall, husband of Lauren, and William Duvall, husband of Deb.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, Hazel Duvall, Mary Clevengar, brother Richard Duvall, and his beloved dog and fishing buddy, Sassy.
He attended the former Joller and Robertsdale Schools, was US Army Vietnam Veteran with the rank of SP5/E5, 36th engineers, 27th Engineers Combat from 1967 to 1969.
He worked for the IBEW Local 126 in Collegeville, PA for 53 years and worked for T.C. Lloyd Construction for 22 years as a mechanic.
He was a member of the Watson and Black Post 126 American Legion in Broad Top City and enjoyed trout fishing, helping work the truck stocking trout for 13 years, going to car shows with his 1972 and 1973 Chargers, Hunting, going to the shotgun shoots at the Broad Top Sportsman’s with family, Racing with the Duvall Racing #11 & #48 which was the only time he was a Ford Man.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 6-8 PM and again on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 11 AM with Pastor Richard Harter officiating.
Interment will take place in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cooks where full military honors will be provided by the Broad Top Area Honor Guard, graveside committal by Pastor Richard Harter and words from a friend Brian Warner.
