Roberta (Watson) Hennessey

Roberta Hennessey, 90, of Middletown, passed away on June 18, 2020 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey.
Born in Broad Top City, PA on September 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Williams) Watson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings.
On July 16, 1951, she was united in marriage to Ronnie L. Hennessey. Mr. Hennessey survives in Middletown.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, PA and loved to read. Her employment was with bookbinders Doubleday Company and the Wert Company.
Along with her husband, she is survived by daughters, Kathy Rose, wife of John, Harrisburg, Margaret Hennessey, Hummelstown, Rhonda Crow, wife of Mark, Middletown, and Barbara Hennessey, Hershey. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and numerous extended family members.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at 1 PM with Pastor Dan Gilbert officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. Broad Top City, PA. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
