Roberta (Yates) Long

Roberta Yates Long, 71, of McDonough, Ga, Formerly of Hellertown, passed away on May 15, 2021 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, Ga.
Born in Newtown, PA. on December 29, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert K and Violet A. Yates.
On September 19, 1971 she was united in marriage to Martin Long who survives at their home.
She was a graduate of Council Rock High School and then worked as an executive secretary, accounts payable clerk, for the following companies over her career, Itt Technology, Hercules Aerospace, Stericycle Waste Management and Swigart Insurance. She resided in McDonough, Ga. For 28 years after moving from Hellertown, PA.
Along with her husband she is survived by two sisters, Joyce Kessler and Violet Peacock. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Kessler.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Kathy Speck officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
