Rose Margaret (Barbee) Henderson

Rose Margret Henderson, 94, of James Creek, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at her home.
Born in Cameron La. On November 26, 1926, a daughter of the late, Adam and Octavia (Menard) Barbee.
She was of the Catholic faith and was primarily a homemaker.
She was the wife of Frank Nelson Henderson for 71 years, he preceded her in death on May 13, 2018.
Surviving are son Lee Henderson, husband of Patricia, Son Robert Henderson and companion, Karen, daughter Betty Buckley, wife of Lloyd, and daughter Nancy Cormier. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchilderen, Timothy and Zackory, and 6 brothers and sisters, as she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was an avid Bingo player, loved working in her garden, enjoyed preparing Sunday dinners for over 70 years for her family, traveling to Louisiana, talking to Georgia and Woodrow daily, playing Cadillac on Sundays and while in Lousiania, and spending time with her husband on the front porch.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing, however friends will be received from 11AM to 12PM on Thursday, July 8, 2021
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. at 12 PM with Father Mark Reid officiating.
Interment will take place in the Newburg Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
