Roy Clayton Cooley, 76, of Robertsdale, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Born in Robertsdale, PA on September 28, 1949, a son of the late Leland and Louella (Eichelberger) Heath Cooley.
He was preceded in death by his wife Diana L. Cooley and then later married Jayme (Helsel) Moyle Cooley who survives at their home.
Also surviving are daughters, Tracey DeRodes, wife of Ryan DeRodes, Deanna White, wife of Randy White Sr., Stacy Puchalo, wife of Bruce Puchalo, stepsons, Willis Wible Jr., husband of Casey Wible, David Moyle husband of Sherry, and Scott Moyle, grandchildren, Christa (Guyer) Lyons, Cody Guyer, Brittany (White) Bookwalter, Randy White Jr., Jasmine White, Micah Puchalo, Matthew Puchalo, Laura Wible, Miranda Wible, numerous great grandchildren, siblings, Mike Cooley, Terry Cooley, Wayne Cooley, and Martha (Heath) Whited. Along with his parents and wife Diana, he was preceded in death by a son David Allan Cooley, stepson, Paul Wible, and brothers, Russell, Irvin, and Thomas Heath.
he was a graduate of Tussey Mt. High School, was of the Christian faith, and worked in the coalmines, was a pipelayer of Leon E. Wintermeyer, had his CDL's for driving coal truck, drove school bus for Figard Busing, and lastly working for Walmart in the maintenance department.
During his life he enjoyed coaching baseball in his younger years, dirt track racing and being a mechanic for his sons, fishing with family, visiting family when camping to play corn hole, Hunting, woodworking, working in the garage, doing mechanic work, was involved with the Robertsdale Church of God choir and ministries, enjoyed watching the grandkids play baseball, football, basketball and band, putting puzzles together and then making picture frames for them, and loved the Third Day Christian Band along with other Christian music.
Friends will be received on Monday, June 29, 2026 at the Robertsdale Church of God from 10:30AM-12 Noon with a funeral service starting at Noon with Pastor Jared Fields officiating.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
