Roy Harding

Roy H. Harding, 67, of Six Mile Run, passes away on September 17, 2021 at his home following an extended illness.
Born in Roaring Spring on October 12, 1953, a son of the late John and Mildred (Buseck) Harding.
He was a graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and was a self-employed auto body specialist.
Dirt track racing was Roy’s passion and love. Over the years he was a local racecar driver, crew chief, car owner and built his own racing chassis. He enjoyed helping others who shared his passion and love for racing.
Surviving are a brother, Raymond Harding husband of Sandra, of Six Mile Run, Niece, Rita Sipes, wife of Gerald of Harrisonville, Nephews, Gerald Markle husband of Lisa, of Roaring Spring, Dan Harding and companion Kim Frye of Saxton, a great nephew, Jared Markle, and a sister-in-law Cathy Harding of Orbisonia.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jon E. Harding and Robbie Harding.
Roy’s family wishes to thank Deb Morrow, Robert Donelson, and Robert Swope for their time, love and caregiving support they gave to him.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc.  5010 Railroad Ave. Broad Top City, PA. 16621. Those wishing to attend the visitation for Roy are asked to wear your favorite racing attire to honor him.
A private family burial will take place in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run, PA.
