Ruth L. (McGhee) Chamberlain

Ruth L. (McGhee) Chamberlain, 96, of the Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of Coalmont, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Village.

Born in Finleyville, Pa on October 7, 1926, a daughter of the late Henry and Etta Cecelia (Rabenstein) McGhee.

She was a sales clerk at the Montgomery Ward Store, was also a homemaker, and a member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Chamberlain, brothers, Walter, Clinton, Dallas, Delmont, Merle, Dean, sisters, Gladys and Vera. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by numerus nieces and nephews.

Ruth's joys in life were living for the welfare of her family, cooking, and caring for her mom and dad. She just couldn't wait to see her mom again.

Friends will be received on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. from 10-10:30 AM with a funeral service will be held immediately following at 10:30 with Pastors Patty Wise and Suzanne Detterline officiating. Interment will take place in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run, PA.
