Sharon Elaine (Fouse) Defibaugh

Sharon Elaine Defibaugh, 67, of James Creek, passed away on Tuesday, May 28 at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on December 21, 1956 in Roaring Spring, PA, a daughter of the late Dorothy M. (Lohr) and Fred L. Fouse Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Sleepy" Defibaugh on October 30, 2023. Also preceding her in death were siblings, Grace Houp, Harvey Fouse, and Fred Fouse Jr.

Surviving are two sons, Eric Gill, husband of Fern, and Nathan Gill, husband of Lori. Also surviving are granddaughters, Cassandra and Brianna Taylor, sister, Carrie Decker, brother, Clarence "Butch" Fouse, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a 1974 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School and was of the Protestant Faith. She worked as a cook at Jerry's Diner and as a clerk at Saxton Outdoor Supply. She enjoyed couponing, gardening, and baking.

At the request of the deceased there will be no services held.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the donors local volunteer fire department or donors local Humane Society.
