Sharon L. DiCriscio

Sharon (Sherry) L. DiCriscio, 65, of Saxton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 11, 2023, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born on July 23, 1957, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and LaVerne “Tootie” C. (Houck) Crooks.
She is survived by her loving sons, Neil R. DiCriscio, and wife Brandi of Tyrone; Daniel S. DiCriscio and wife Ashley of Pittsburgh; and Anthony M. DiCriscio, and wife Antoinette of Lewisburg. Eight grandchildren: Dalton and Dominic Berry, Jordan and Jaxson DiCriscio, Madeline and Julia DiCriscio, and Evelyn and Rosalina DiCriscio.
Brothers and sisters: Kim D. Crooks, and wife Jodi of Gettysburg; Lori Hann, and husband, Jim of Eagle Foundry; Brenda Reed, and husband Jack of Cooks, Janet Defibaugh, and husband Ric of Bedford, and Michael Crooks of Robertsdale.
Sherry graduated from Tussey Mountain High School in 1975. She retired from the Medical Records Department at UPMC Blair Medical Associates after 18 years of service in 2022.
Sherry attended the Trough Creek Valley Community Church in Eagle Foundry.
She enjoyed her daily walks with her dog, Buttercup, caring for her grandkids, nieces and nephews, and swimming in her pool with the kids. She loved the beach, singing, reading, crafts, traveling, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Sherry will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Inc. in Broad Top City, with Pastor Tim Martin officiating.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. in Broad Top City.
