Stan David Swope Sr., 69, of Huntingdon, passed away, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Penn Highlands Hospital in Huntingdon.
Born in Coalmont, PA on March 13, 1955, a son of the late Harry Raymond and Jacqueline (Lemin) Swope.
Surviving are daughters, Joanna Smith, wife of Donald of Huntingdon, Naomi Swope of Mifflintown, sons, Stan Swope Jr. of Freeport, Nathan Swope of Acme, Adam Minor of Rockwood, Roy Miller of Center Hall, Leroy Swope of Philadelphia, sisters, Shirley Bollinger of Everett, Joanne Gilbert of Waterfall, Gloria Pennell of Sadsburyville, and a brother, Fred Swope of Oxford, as well as 5 grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Carol Herring, Betty Klinger, brothers, Delano Swope and Leo Swope.
He had a comical uplifting personality, loved NASCAR, and was a woodworker and wood craftsman. He also enjoyed autobody work and dearly loved his family and would help anyone in need.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services held.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.
