Obituary
Terry Edward "Rusty" Johnston, 59, of Wood, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA.
Born in Altoona, PA on July 1, 1963, a son of the late Terrence Edward and Carol Ann (Flaro) Johnston.
He attended Penn Cambria High School in Cresson and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Surviving are daughters, Paula, and Gabby, 3 grandchildren, sisters, Kathy, Mary, and Anna, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends, Father Thomas Klein and Allen.
Rusty enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, nature and was always known for his quick wit.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 9-11 AM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City, Pa. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at the St. Michaels Orthodox Church, 362 North St., Wood, PA. 16694 with Father Thomas Klein officiating.
Interment will take place in the St. Michaels Orthodox Cemetery, Wood. PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you plant your favorite tree in memory of Rusty.
