Thomas D. Wright, 79, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born in Defiance, Pa on June 22, 1945, a son of the late Stanley Eugene and Myrtle Elizabeth (Foor) Wright.
On October 5, 1985 at the United Church of Christ in Altoona, he was united in marriage to Deborah D. (Holland) Wright who survives at their home.
During his life he was a hard worker working as a laborer in the construction field and most recently as a foreman. He enjoyed spending time with friends.
Along with his wife he is survived by a daughter Melissa, wife of Bob Walls, a son, Tommy, husband of Lisa Wright, step-children, Patrick, husband of April Holland, Michael, husband of Stacey Holland, numerous grandchildren, mother-in-law, Joanne Holland, siblings, Robert, husband of Jennie Wright, Jerry, husband of Priscilla Wright, Joe, husband of Debbie Wright, Edith Wineland, Maryann, wife of Henry Meetze, sister-in-law, Shirley Wright, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeding him in death were his parents, and siblings, Ronald and wife Peggy Wright, Stanley Wright, Jean and Husband Rankin Souders, Dorcas, and husband Willard Cypher.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11 AM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. in Broad Top City, PA. with Pastor Jerry Wright officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service time.
Interment will take place in the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either the Wounded Warrior Project or to the ASPCA.
