Timothy L. Wyles, 67, of Saxton, Gold Star Family, lost his battle with cancer on August 7, 2025, surrounded by his siblings, sister-in-law, and his nieces and nephews, in his twin brothers home where he was residing.
Born in Huntingdon, PA on September 12, 1957, a son of the late Ray G. and Phyllis Arlene (Streepy) Wyles.
He was preceded in death by his parents , brothers, Robert George Wyles and Pvt. Donald C. Wyles.
Surviving are daughters, Niechele (Donnie) Notestine of Saxton, and Ashley (Brent) Stoner, of Kentucky; granddaughters, Makenzie Notestine, Brooke Notestine, and Violet Stoner; siblings, Nancy Heath, Gary Wyles, and twin Terry (Karen) Wyles Sr.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He attended Tussey Mt. High School and worked on neighboring farms for Joe Wyles, Jack and Mary Rhodes, Sam Brumbaugh, and Ronnie and Beverly Perrin.
He worked construction with Dan Miller Construction, McMurtrie Construction, Sam Rhodes Construction, and Pennsylvania Construction. He was a truck driver for Martinsburg Milling Co., and retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime as an owner operator.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed taking trips out west, riding on his John Deere tractor and was always accompanied by his faithful dog Rusty.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 2 PM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Saxton United Methodist Church, Church Street Saxton, PA with Pastor Alfred Chamberlain officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
