Victor Alan Heath

Victor Alan Heath, 48, of Saxton, passed away on October 14, 2022, unexpectedly at home.

Born on February 5, 1974 in Roaring Spring, a son of Susan I. (Rinard) and Victor Heath Jr. of Saxton.

He was a 1992 graduate of Tussey Mt. High School, attended Slippery Rock University, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was affiliated with the Stonerstown Church of the Brethren and was currently working as a corrections officer at SCI Smithfield and had previously worked at Walmart Distribution, drove semi truck, and for the pipeline in North Dakota.

During his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, and held memberships at the Watson and Black Post 126 American Legion in Broad Top City, the Saxton Sportsman’s Assn, and the National Rifle Assn.

Along with his parents, he is survived by sons Bryce A. Heath and Brady A. Heath, both of Saxton, a sister, Margie A. (Heath) Monty, wife of Richard J. Monty, a nephew, Michael J. Monty, and a niece Alyssa B. Monty.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October, 19, 2022 from 6-8 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11 AM with Pastor Mary Garvey officiating at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. 5010 Railroad Ave. Broad Top City, PA. 16621.

Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Broad Top City where military honors will be provided by the Broad Top Area Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Assn. (diabetes.org) or to the charity of the donors choice.
