Virginia (DeLuca) Slate

Virginia Slate, 86, of Dudley, passed away at home on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Born in Dudley on November 18, 1935, a daughter of the late Eli and Josephine (Salvaggio) DeLuca.

Surviving are daughters, Debbie Baker (Steve) of Lewes, DE, Tammy Hockenbrock (Scott), Eagleville, PA, grandchildren, Shawn Scott, Dana Baker, Dannielle Wilson, Steve Baker, Kimberly Tiegs, Dan Hockenbrock, John Michael Slate, Joshua Slate, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, siblings, Joanne Taylor of York, Jim DeLuca of Saxton, Don DeLuca of Myrtle Beach, Sc, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Slate, a sister, Emma Miller and a brother Charles DeLuca.

Services will be held by the family privately at their convenience.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the American Heart Association or to Cancer Research.
