Walter Allen “Walt” Heath, 52, of Wood, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon on May 13, 1968, a son of the late Larry “Hugan” and Regina (Long) Heath.
He was married to Stephanie (Norris) Heath who survives at their home along with their children, Shawn and Autumn Heath.
He is also survived by two sisters, Terry Eltman and Sally Cresswell both of Saxton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Heath, and a nephew, Zachary Corbin.
He was employed as a mechanic at Dixon’s Garage in Dudley, was a member of the Watson and Black Post 126 in Broad Top City, and had attended Tussey Mt. High School.
He enjoyed going mudding, 4 wheeling, watching Moonshiners, Goldrush, and Clint Eastwood Movies. He enjoyed all the laughs and good times he had with all the friends he made over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
As Walt was not a flower kind of guy, the family is requesting memorial contributions to be made to the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. P.O. Box 214, Broad Top City, PA. 16621 to assist in final expenses.
