Wendy Black Obituary

Wendy Sue Black, 70, of Broad Top City, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Conemaugh Nason Hospital.

Born in Huntingdon on February 23, 1953, a daughter of the late Veryl Woodrow and Thelma Gladys (Bolinger) Black.

She had been a forklift/dump truck operator at Letterkenny Army Depot and was a member of the Broad Top American Legion Post 126.

Family was everything to Wendy, She brought her own brand of joy and delight to each gathering. She was surrounded by love of many as she made her final walk with God.

Surviving are her husband, Earl G. "Buddy" Rickabaugh, daughters Holli Jo Witters and companion, Scott Bousum, Traci Ann Witters, wife of John Morrow, Sisters, Carol Joann Black Rodgers, Nancy Runk, wife of Norman, brothers, Larry Black, husband of Audrey, Tommy Black, husband of Ruth Ann, Sister-In-:Law, Faye Black, grandchildren, Rachel, Vanessa, Zachary, Dakota, Jensen, Jessica, great-grandchildren, Blake, Brynlee, Hudson, Norah, Theo, Camila, nieces and nephews, Kim, Buck, Pam, Jeff, Tim, Jenna, Angela, Alyssa, Joel, and her K9's that she had a special bond with, Harley and Gracie, and two step-sons, Jacob and Jonathan.

She was preceded in death by brother Malcolm "Mick" Black, nieces, April D. Black and Misty D. Black, great grandson, Nolan T. Morrow, Brother-In-Laws, Robert Carl "Sonny" Swope, Charles Rodgers, K9 companions, Shinny and Girl.

At the request of the deceased there will be no services held.
