William Foor Sr. Obituary
William Robert Foor Sr., 83, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Donahoe Manor.
Born in Six Mile Run on May 6, 1937, a son of the late Edward Scott and Edna Blanche (Williams) Foor.
On December 9, 1960 he married Edna A. (Foor) Foor who preceded him in death on January 15, 1993, as well as his second wife, Karen (Fluke) Foor on October 4, 2016.
Surviving are sons, William Foor Jr. and Frank Foor and companion, Doris Diehl, stepchildren, Alicia Kump, Frank Stout, and Tom Stout. Also surviving are two granddaughters, April Haskins and Jessica Clark, as well as five great grand children, Sarah James, Dennis Haskins Jr., Amber Wyatt, and Wayde Clark, six step grandchildren, John, Blade, Dante, Bailie, Aleksis, and Jasmin, brother James Foor, widower of Alice, sisters, Mary Catherine Steele, widow of Louie, Sandy Foore, wife of John, Patrica Shaffern, widow of Sam, Nancy Axon, wife of William, and Sidney Oaks, widow of Robert.
Along with his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donnie Foor, Paul Milferd Weaver, Eugene Weaver, Charles Foor, and sisters, Cindy Foor and Peggie Foor.
He had worked in the coalmines and as a logger. He enjoyed his family and friends and especially loved watching the children in the neighborhood play. He will be missed.
There will be no services held at this time.
