William Neuder Obituary
William Neuder, 84, of Dudley, past away on Friday, May 31, at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona.
Born in Dudley on July 13, 1934, a son of the late Wallace and Catherine (Conley) Neuder.
On December 20, 1957, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane (O’Donnell) Neuder who preceded him in death on November 1, 2017.
He was a 1953 graduate of Saxton-Liberty High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He held a lifetime membership at the Captain Phillips VFW in Saxton where he held various offices and was very active. He also was a lifetime member of the Down River Golf Course and a member of the Watson and Black American Legion in Broad Top City. He also was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley.
Surviving are the following family members, Sons, William “Butch” Neuder, husband of Susan, Joel Neuder, husband of Letitia, daughter, Chanin Horton and companion, Richard Lashley, Grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew, Christopher, Averiana, Levi, Joel Jr., husband of Courtney, Ty, Andrew, and Samantha, Great Grandchildren, Alexander and Conner, sisters, Dorothy Triest, Audrey Jones, Linda Drobnich, and Cathy Conner.
Along with his wife he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Ramsey, and brothers, Glenn Conley, Eldon “Bish” Neuder, and Louie Neuder.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley with Father Matthew Baum Officiating.
Friends will be received Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 9-10:30 AM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. in Broad Top City, PA.
Interment will take place in the Ave Maria Cemetery in Dudley with full military honors conducted by the Broad Top Area Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Captain Phillips VFW, 603 Lower Main St., Saxton, PA. 16678.
