Dear Karen & Family,
It was with heartfelt sadness that we learned of Fred's passing when we read the obit in the Bedford Gazette. We extend our most sincere sympathy to you upon the loss of your husband/father. I remember one Christmas Eve, I was preparing Prime Rib for the first time ever and wasn't sure how to do it, someone suggested I call Fred, because of how much we enjoyed his at the Arena Restaurant. He was so kind and graciously gave me the instructions. The prime rib came out perfect. The only problem was I didn't write the instructions down and never have made it since. I will never forget his kindness in my time of need. We pray that God will give you the courage and strength needed to help you through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. From your neighbors in Fishertown.

Dear Karen, Victor and family,
It is with our deepest sympathies that we write to send our condolences to you and your entire family. We first met all of you, Karen, Fred, & Victor when our sons were on the same baseball team as young boys. Our boys spent so much time together, you and Fred became great second parents to Gregory! Please let us know if you need anything.

Just learned today of Fred's passing. He was one of my best friends at Milton Hershey School. A huge part of my teen years has died along with him. He was one of the guys that kept me sane during my time at MHS. My condolences, late I know, but I am incredibly saddened at knowing he won't be part of our 40th Reunion this year.
