To my Uncle Joe, I am sorry I could not be there today but know that you have been in my thoughts this day. It is comforting that you are with my dad, Alex, and Uncle Steve, who I know will look after you. May you rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear that Joe has died. My condolences to his family since I know protecting them meant so much to him. Joe was a big inspiration to me. His concern and perseverance in working to protect Wood's water source showed me what a determined man can do for his neighbors.
