James Territo, 95, of Robertsdale, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
Born in Robertsdale on September 25, 1922, he was a son of the late Charles and Angeline (Saia) Territo.
On July 28, 1946, in the Asbury Methodist Church in Eagle Foundry, he was united in marriage to Laura (Crotsley) Territo which produced a 71 year marriage. Mrs. Territo survives at home.
He was a member if the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dudley and was a contract route mail carrier in Trough Creek Valley for 43 years as well as being a barber in Robertsdale for 58 years. He was a former member of the Robertsdale Lions Club and was a member of the R.W.& BT Vol. Fire Co. and enjoyed playing pool and hunting. He was a 1941 graduate of Robertsdale High School and then attended Barber School in Pittsburgh.
Along with his wife he is survived by three sons, Charles, husband of Jacqueline of Pittsburgh, Michael. husband of Ann of State College, and Perry of Robertsdale, two grandchildren, Charles James Territo of Scottsdale, AZ and Brandy Nicole Keith of Meeker, OK, and four great grandchildren, Bianca Camile Territo, James Ryder Territo both of Arizona, Justin and Ethan Keith both of Oklahoma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Guy, Louie, Jean, Josephine, Mary, Angeline, Rose, Charles, Ida, and Leonard.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. in Broad Top City from 6-8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley at 10 AM with Father Matthew Baum Officiating.
Interment will take place in the Ave Maria Cemetery, Dudley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I am the middle daughter of Hugh Mull, and many a Friday evening or Saturday evening, I'd accompany Dad up to Robertsdale when he went to get his hair cut. I always enjoyed the commraderie at The Barber Shop.
